Join the Wilder Child Development Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and play a key role in providing high-quality learning and care for children aged 16 months to 5 years old! The center, a Head Start co-location site, is NAEYC accredited and has achieved a 4-Star rating from Parent Aware. Emphasizing trauma-informed practices, you will contribute to supporting children and families.
Wage range: $21.50-$23.50
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to provide support and services to children and their families, serving as a positive role model.
Implement a strengths-based, culturally relevant approach to guide diverse children and support the whole family.
Contribute to the development and implementation of plans for activities, events, and projects aligned with Wilder’s strategy and CDC’s goals.
Maintain a clean, welcoming, and accessible environment for children and families through tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, occasional meal prep, and cleanup.
Report any mishaps, diseases, or injuries with patience and support from the Early Childhood Education team.
Job Qualifications:
Passion for early childhood education and helping children achieve educational goals.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working with a diversity of young children and their families.
Commitment to cleanliness, health, safety, security, and privacy.
Friendly demeanor, valuing diverse people, experiences, and skills, and approaching others with respect, empathy, and care.
Ability to work with little supervision, asking for clarification when needed.
Efficient time management and prioritization skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or equivalent (Preschool CDA).
First Aid & CPR certified.
